Assignment for trainees of the Visualizing Democracy course

Given: 15 gubernatorial elections of the Russian Federation on Single Voting Day 2019.

Task: Identify the top three most criminal ones using official CEC data and three modules of the Electoral.Graphics website.

This brief tour of our Lab will help you familiarize yourself with its basic tools, understand how you can catch election cheats from the comfort of your couch, and:

  • Why Murmansk's gubernatorial election doesn't raise questions;

The polling station with a turnout of 117% is an error of the Bashkortostan election commission in the data of digital polling station #9011 (see CEC website)
