Laboratory

The place of your discoveries

Our Lab is the main part of the site. Its mission is to provide users with the tools and data they need to work independently.

Here you can see for yourself how honest or unlikely various elections were.

We recognise that not everyone has the time, knowledge or technical ability to conduct statistical research on elections.

Homework from Maxim N. for the course "Visualizing Democracy"

Hello.

I am late in sending the assignment.

I came to the conclusion that the election results were most rigged in Kursk region, Kalmykia and Zabaikalsky Krai. I used a scatter diagram (scatter-plotter). The roads of the winners are clearly steeply going upwards, while the competitors are lying in dead layers.

Regards,
Maxim N.

Laboratory comments:

It is worth noting that Maxim correctly pointed out the problem regions, but as in any diagnosis we need comprehensiveness. Falsification affects many natural laws and upsets the balance of many relationships. Therefore, looking through the eyepieces of various instruments, i.e., studying the various aspects of such an intervention adds reliability to the diagnosis and credibility to the investigation.
